i didn't break my locker, or my shaft, and the hub didn't blow off. The front left hub made a loud pop, and now that front left tire doesn't spin. I took the diff cover off and the locker works fine, took the hubs off and when the hubs are off, both inner and outer shafts spin. when i put the hubs back on the same thing happens again, the front left doesn't spin. Is there something inside the hub that could be broken, it doesn't look like anything is broken, but the snap ring on the stub shaft fell right off when i pulled the hub off. any info would help.

YUP ITS BROKE......I DID THAT TO MINE IN THE BOX LAST WEEKEND......THERE ARE INTERNAL TEETH IN THE PART THAT GETS HELD IT WITH THE CLIPS.......YOU CAN PULL THAT APART AND WALLAAAAAAAA...A BUNCH OF BROKEN TEETH......

if it is the tire that is not spinning, can you (or someone watching) see if the axle shaft is spinning? if it is spinning and the tire is not then your lockout is toast. if the shaft is not spinning either on that side then your locker is toast.

You can also try to switch sides of the hubs.

don't think you can get warn hubs at walmart....but thanks for the replies and the info, the locker isn't broken the shafts do spin, its what 71RCKCRZR said about the teeth.
