Thanks.
They are out there, this one cost me $1700.00 on the Binder Bulletin classifieds.
Had it shipped to a guy in Idaho, who supplied the parts from a 1310 4x4, to do the conversion.
Flew out from Michigan, and drove it home with all the extra parts in the bed.
I have around 10,000 in it so far. But who is counting ?

They are 36" IROK's. We weren't stuck, but we weren't going forward any more either. We were still at about 10PSI and by ourselvs so we figured it was a good idea and not push our luck.

Fort Wayne. (northeast corner)

Back when I got that axle I knew nothing about high steer, didn't have internet, and never heard of PBB. It's only been wheeled once and is getting replaced by d60. I suppose it would cost more to hi steer it than it would to regear a d60 and swap it in.

If you haven't used Herc before, I'd advise against it for that nice of a truck. Looks like you've got the wheeler in the background. If I knew, my truck wouldn't have gotten herc'd. I would have saved up for line-x, or just painted. All it does is make it harder to clean out, and traps sand and crap.

Just my .02 ;) I think that's too damn nice to put the herc in. Sounds like it's a DD, or semi-DD, I think carpeted would be nicer.

Shit, did I just type that on pirate:laughing:

Thanks. Yeah, the orange Scout has been a "long term" project that still has yet to be driven. Health and personal abstacles have prevented me from getting much farther on it and trying to maintain the blue Scout. I hope to work on it more this Spring. Currently it sets with an IH 345/TF-727 and I was in the process of making an adapter for a Ford NP 205 however, recently I have been thinking of going with a Chebby motor/tranny combo and get an adapter for the Ford 205. It has a Ford D60 front and Ford D-70 rear with 5.13's and custom 4" Superlift springs with soa. I hope to have it on the road (and off) this summer!:smokin:
