Ever wanted to go to a desert race but didn’t have a reason? Do you enjoy seeing race rigs up close hauling ass through the desert? Like to be around a fun group of people out to win and have a good time doing it? Well here is your chance.

Team Pirate/Shaffer Jeepspeed 1705 is looking for volunteers to help us with chase support this season. This gig is strictly volunteer. You will need to provide your own food, transportation, tools, and accommodations. Basically you will have to cover all the costs of getting yourself to and from the race. Your vehicle needs to be able to handle caring a spare race tire, possibly a dump can, and get to various pit locations around the course. You never know how the chase roads are going to be so 4wheel drive is not mandatory, but is highly preferred. Even if you can’t make all the races we could still use your help for any race that might be in your neck of the woods. The races, except those in Baja, take place on Saturdays, so you would need to be in town for a quick meeting the Friday night before the race. If you have any questions just ask or give me a call 253-686-7118.

We will be running the complete Jeepspeed series and the Baja 500 and Baja 1000.

April 19th Terrible Town 250, Stateline, Nv
May 30th-June 1st Baja 500 Ensenada
July 19th Freedom Night Race, Barstow, Ca.
Sept 13th Johnson Valley Race, Lucerne, Ca
Nov. 19th – 21s Baja 100 Ensenada
Dec 6th Henderson Terrible 400, Henderson, NV

Ever wanted to go to a desert race but didn’t have a reason? Are you tired of all those low budget loser teams asking you to volunteer? Like to be around a fun group of people out to win and have a good time doing it? Well here is your chance.

FatCity Off-Road Racing Jeepspeed 1790 is looking for volunteers to help with chase support this season. This gig is NOT strictly volunteer, we pay you with experience. Not the kind of experience were you walk away with more intelligence but the kind you may not be able to walk away from at all. You will need to provide your own brew, dumpy Ford Ranger or F-150, screw driver and carpenter's hammer, and accommodations. Basically you will have to cover all the costs of getting yourself to and from the race and maybe even some of our's. Your Ranger or F-150 needs to have fiberglass fenders and be able to handle a spare race tire, possibly a dump can, and get to various pit locations around the course. You never know how the chase roads are going to be so you may be required to peel out from time to time. We would expect nothing less than spare parts, tools, and aluminum jacks to be flying out of the bed while peeling out. Even if you can’t make all the races we could still use your help for any race that might be in your neck of the woods. The races take place on Saturdays, so expect to party hard on Friday night. If you have any questions your not right for the team.

I have been with both teams at races. Both have the same hard core professional race team attitude!

Lots of fun!

I am very interested, I chased for the Lees (1710) for the last three years, and definitely know what the deal is...My xj is caged, race radio, and very capable!

Send me an email so we can chat some more, but I am game!

You could run 3700 and race against Bob Land. It's almost a sure win.
