NC Zuk 07-05-2002, 12:48 PM I have seen a few people that have vent extensions on their axles as well as their t-cases and I have some on the way with my coil suspension. I understand the concept but wonder if any of you have suffered the consequences for not having extensions. :nuke: Does it really have that much of a benefit? :confused: I'm all ears...................... :usa: :beret: Hank 07-05-2002, 01:43 PM I learned the hard way with my Chevy Truck. Deep mud/water. When I checked the diff, it ran out the check hole forever. Luckily it didn't ruin anything. Since then, I have routed them high on all my trucks. I did the T-case on the Sammi yesterday. I'm waiting to do the rear until I get my new shackles installed. I have to see it flex before I run the hose to that one! :flipoff2: zukimoo 07-05-2002, 11:32 PM Down here we play alot in water so its almost mandatory to vent all the stuff..... I use 1/2" heater hose and connected both and them routed the hose in the dash through the firewall...(when oil comes out of the dash, its a good indication I'm upside down.....)I did my tranny(did this one when I had it off) and T-case. BTW it's a PIA to get a hose onto the t-case & tranny. | |
