My father-in-law and I were discussing enviro-nazi's the other day. He works over at the Livermore Lab & was telling me about how there is a yearly anti-nuclear protest there. (even though the new laser being built there is made to check the stability of our stockpile of nuc's without having to actually detonate them :nuke: ... therefore actually helping the environment  )It used to get alot of attention, until it was uncovered that many of the protestors were being PAID by the enivronmental groups to go there & protest. Now, everyone laughs at the protest & it has never been taken seriously since. It makes me wonder if some of these groups are still using "for hire" protestors and how it could be brought about making this public? yea, yea, it's sneaky political type tactics, but I was just wondering what anyone else thought about this?

Shiate yes!!!. A certain political party has negotiated a union holiday on election day, and they beat the bushes for "participation."

Here in the LA area (Pacific Palisades) there is still a large contigent of the No Nukes crowd around. It's like 1975 called wants their movement back.

Then they hop back into their Suburbans/Volvos with the Love Your Mother sticker on the bumper to cool off in their climate controlled dwelling set at 70 degrees when they live on the beach where the temperature is a blistering 75 degrees.

As far back as the early '80's, paid anti-nuclear protesters picketed the Trident Submarine Base at Bangor, WA. every Thursday. As at Lawrence-Livermore, when it was learned that at least some of the protesters were paid, the anti-nuke movement lost major credibility very quickly.
