Have a buddy with a 76 F-250 he wants to sell me for $500. 360,auto,203, 44/60. Says it ran until his dad stole the carb off it about 2 years ago. Body not good. I need an axle for my SAS on my Bronco anyway, and even thought the 203 might be interesting down the road (doubler), but really don't need it. I just thought it seemed like a good deal. What you guys think?

That 44 should be a low pinion, not very desirable for a swap.
I'd pass on it.

Go for 300 and it might be worth it.

Not a great axle and the 203 is divorced, won't work for a doubler.

I'm fairly sure I have seen rigs using a divorced 203/205 doubler. I could be confused about something, though.

I don't doubt it but it would make for a really short rear driveline in his Bronco.
