a guy on my site posted this to my board. thought it was kinda cool

How cool is this? I got this off the NEWJO (New England Willy's Jeeps Organization)site. The ramp was built for NEWJO by Way Offroad in Dover, New Hampshire.

so do you score by the 1st or 2nd rear axle?

Not bad for what it is. :D Ramps better than the last hummer I saw. I'm guessing that about any wheeler will be fine on that ramp now that it has passed the structural test.

When the 4 tires weigh more than the truck itself, you have a wonderfully low center of gravity, yet no fllex to show for it. The Monter Truck would do better on the ramp if it was on its lid :flipoff2:
As for the 2 ton cargo transport, DAMN! Not bad at all for a semi truck. Id like to se it take the ramp in Reverce!

Unfortunately I was not there the day that guy did the ramp weight test but I heard the story from Cory at www.wayoffroad.com a few days later when I was at his shop.
The dues is the guys daily driver. You always see it driving around in the area.
When he was on the ramp a first lifted a tire Cory told him: "stop you have a tire in the air"
The response: "So? I have plenty more on the ground back there." Then proceeded nearly to the end of the ramp.

i borrowed skeet shooters gooseneck to pick up my first 2 1/2 ton. i fired it up and drove it off the trailer and bent one of the ramps. so i pulled off to one side [flipped over the ramp]and drive up the one ramp to see if i could bend it back, what a shitty feeling. i have never been that high at that much angle, they were telling me to drive farther up and it, it was a weird feeling. that guy must drive that rig all the time to run it up a ramp like that. mike
