remove the pill? as far as i know, and i have a twin stick that i will be using here shortly. But from what i know you take the old shifters off and then bolt the new ones on, its really very very simple, not sure what you mean about bolting something that off. You still need that support are in the front if thats what your talking about.

To remove the pill ya need to pull the outside shift shaft detent and it will come out the plug to the side of the detent plugs. To do it right go here:

If you modify that shift rail do you still have to pull the pills out? or does that do it all? If you do still have to pull the pills, do you have more info on that?

Just putting the extra stick on gives you RWD low and FWD low. So you can do front digs.

You only have to modfiy the shifter if you want FWD high. Personally, I don't see much of a point in it.

So just putting twin sticks in place of the regular single stick will alow me to do front digs?

saying that, how does the normal twin stick take the rear out to do front digs?

by only engaging the front axle while the rear axle is in neutral

No, you leave the pill in. It will will keep ya from putting the front in high and rear it low, or the other way around. If ya just pull the pill make sure ya don't blow the case gettting one lever in high and the other in low.:homer:

Correct. Leave the shift rail and pills alone. No need to mess with them.
