So I decided on the 5" tactical. I held it and the 4" model next to each other and the 5" has a really great weight to it so I had to have it. It fits amazingly well in my hands and I can't wait to throw some lead downrange tomorrow afternoon.

I got it for $550 after taxes which was on the decent side of a deal I dropped another $50 on ammo.

So, are you getting a tac light and vertical foregrip for your holster and mag carrier?

Because, you know, It IS X-treme gear, and it can't be X-treme without X-treme accessories, like an X-treme flashlight and X-treme vertical grip made for X-treme control.

:flipoff2:

How about some X-treme shock(!11!11!!!!!one!!1) ammo?

I actually am going to get a few more mags for it and buy some weird uber nasty rounds for when I CC(probably some Cor-Bons). I'm also going to get a light for it because it'll probably stay in holster next to the bed.

I'm also going to disassemble the entire thing and duracoat the slide, trigger safety, and grip safety with the stainless steel color and use a clear gloss topcoat

Meh, Corbon is overrated and overpriced in my opinion.

Some Gold Dots, Ranger SXT, HST or Golden Sabre(saber?) bonded would be fine and at a lower cost.

I guess I could just buy the dies and get some decent HP's for a few custom handloads :)

I was using CorBons for my CCW, but I load and unload a lot as I play with my guns :grinpimp: I found the Corbons do not hold up well to this. After quite a few chamberings they warp and get sticky...

while you can buy golden sabers in bulk, its generally regarded as a bad idea to load your own personal defence ammo.

Chances of me actually needing to use my gun in a self defence situation=very low
chances of individual on the receiving side of my gun surviving=very low

I don't think handloads or commercial loads would be an issue.
