Got fuel going thru the Avenger carb but no spark at the plugs...:mad3:

Lookin at either the ballast resistor (that I cant remember off hand if theres one on my rig) then theres the electronic ignition module (stock ford).

Theres one wire not hooked up on the ignition box.

Heres what i have hooked up from the ignition module.

Plug 1-Green -negative side of the coil
-3 wires (orange, purple and a black one) all go to the distributor plug
Plug 2-white -positive side of the coil
-red from what i read in the wiring diagram, goes to the I side of the starter solenoid?

Also these boxes have to be grounded to work?

I am stumped since we did have the engine running before with this all like this before.:smokin:

The durafart box should have two hot wires going to it, one while the engine is cranking, the other while the key is on. Get out your test light and see if you have 12v going to the harness that does not go to the distributor.

the autozone website has great testing procedures on it.
helped me diagnose the dead pickup on my "rebuilt" distributor

No.
White = starter cranking circuit. (retards the timing when cranking the engine)
Red = 12v switched.
Then you need 12v switched to the positive side of the coil.
