I bought a front end and I am trying to id this thing with the serial numbers. Can some one direct me to where i can use these to id his thing. It came out of a 2004 f-250.

dana 50? Whats the build of materials number? (bom)

Not sure about a source to decode the numbers, but your axle is a Dana 60. They're standard in Super Dutys from '02 - present (earlier in some cases).

yeah.... googled it and youre right.

thanks guys I will try to get the bom number tommorrow. I was really hoping it was a 60. It was in great shape only had 30,000 original miles on it. I am building a truggy like the bone shaker. I thank you for your help.
