In the second picture the axle is upside down, dosen't it look like it's a low pinion? If you could drag it out to a better place for some pictures that might help.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like a low pinion 44 from a late 60s - mid 70s truck. Maybe an EB depending on width.

Maybe EB cuz its low pininon and you say it is small.

If it's narrower than the chevy I'd say EB as well, Somebody with an EB or buggy may want it

After looking at my D44 in my EB it doesn't look like that pumpkin, Maybe 78-79 FSB

Pics:
1st, High Pinion housing
2nd, Hard to tell from the pic can you get this one larger? It almost looks like F250 knuckles, low pinion houseing with 1/2 coils. Again need better pic, could be shaddow tricks.
3rd not much to see
4th, Cast in wedges. This part of the axle is from a 78-79 F1x0 or Bronco
5th, High Pinion housing

Thanks.
1978-79 F150 or Full Size Bronco axle. Your axle came under both.
I'd be more worried about the diff cover missing, and the quality of the caps.
It's a good axle, just dont use it under a leaf spring vehicle. Keep the Ford coils.
Shame it doesn't have the disc brakes and out...

As an FYI if anyone is ever wondering about those kinds of front 44's if they have a low pinion and the coil spring cup bolt's are 36" apart its from an EB.
