Ok, I just got my A518 in my 96 ram 1500 4x4 (318/with 3.55 gears, 33" bfg muds, and straight exhaust). I had a blown up torque converter, and it took out all my sensors, burned up the clutch packs, and stuff like that.. to the tune of $2060. This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now that I feel the tanny is kinda broken in.. I can feel it downshifting into first going to a stop, and when I gun it from second gear (changing lanes, merging.. heck this is my daily driver) past about 3/4 throttle, I my engine winds up, and I spin the tires (at about 20-30 mph). Feels kinda like I had the truck in nutral, and dropped it into drive. I have a wierd feeling this is not at all right.. and I wanted to know if anyone knew what was wrong before I take it back into my tranny guy, just to have him tell me something to get out of fixing my truck for free. As far as I know.. the tranny is just a stock rebuild, with the orignal converter (rebuilt) and a aftermarket 18,000# tranny cooler.. any ideas thanks. Garrett

P.S. My tranny guy also told me NOT to put in a tranny temp gauge.. I have it sitting behind the seat.. Just an FYI

Yeah, I know.. but I like the rest of the truck alot.. just not the trannys (except the 727). I kinda wish I had just put in a 4500.. but my knees would have gotten back at me for that one. so does anyone have an idea whats going wrong?
