the thought is puting this studebaker pickup body on my scout chassis, same wheel based, problem is its super clean, no rust or dents, and the next big thing it was my dads, so its been in family long time!! its running cadillac drive train in it now, I got a big block chev and turbo 400 I was going to put in it, plus a heits front end and coils in the rear, make it ride and handle nice plus throw a blower on the 454, make a nice street rod out of it, if I throw it on the scout chassis it will be cut up and probably rolled, then byby stude truck, so then the decision is? I know I should of posted on chit chat, what would you all do? thats the question!!

That's too cherry of a body to roll (no matter how tempting the idea). I'd keep it on the streets. (Not to mention the sentimental value) My vote's for a sweet street rod.

Yeah, that is way too badass to turn into a beater. If you're going to modify, rather than restore, definitely rod that thing out and kick some of those little rice-rockets asses!
