: Fuse block or other wiring tricks?

I'm to the point of wiring on my Ftoy and I'm wondering if anybody has any recommendations for fuse blocks/circuit breakers etc. I have 12volt guy panels and switches ready to go along with his master cut off switch. I'm running a 22r on propane so it should be pretty basic.

I have Fan/Lights/Winches/CB/Maybe a radio

I'm hoping to fire it up this weekend. Also what size of a main fuse/circuit breaker should I run between the battery and the rest of the stuff?

I didn't find a lot of info in the build threads related to this stuff.

Thanks.

There is no fuse between the battery and the starter or winch. All of the other fuse sizes needed should be listed on the packaging of the item itself.

I'm a big fan of reusing the fuse/relay block from Jeeps. I know, I know, but they are relatively compact and can handle quite a few circuits. I'm using one in my FZJ80 for all of my auxiliary electrical accessories, and am in the process of installing one in my truck.

Here's a little writeup I did on the one in my cruiser: http://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/119991-tech-how-install-auxiliary-fuse-box-less-than-%2420.html

The fuse panel from McMaster-Carr works awesome and is not that expensive.

McMaster P/N:
5183T11 for 6 circuits
5183T12 for 12 circuits

I went with something similar to McMaster-Carr but a little cheaper from a boat store.

Oh yeah, for all your wiring needs check out the following two sites(that is if Darren doesn't have it ;) )

www.delcity.net

and

www.waytekwire.com

And lastly, I went with the fuse block I referenced above because it was CHEAP. I got the whole thing, full of relays and fuses with 2' of the factory harness for $10 from the local junkyard.
