Looking good, but without seats the ride might be a little rough on the roids.

Cool! Take your time, read a bunch of the other builds.
Do you plan to compete?

We ordered a 4 seater, mostly a trail rig for the kids but it will be built to comp specs.
Does anyone know W.T.F. Why is there a water tube from the block into the bottom if the intake manifold? Do I need it, or can I chuck it and plug the holes?
I think thats there to warm the intake quicker on cold starts? I could be wrong though.
LC engineering has a bunch of cool block off plates for these motors. They sell a block off for what youre talking about.

Did you order a regular Formula toy that you plan to put rear seats in (using the rear seat bar option) or did you order a Formula 4 Seat chassis?
If your chassis # is 96 I would say that you odered a regular Formula Toy. A Formula 4 seat chassis # would start with an "F" and it would be a smaller number. Something like #F032.
Regardless, it looks like you got a good start on it. Keep up the momentum.

It's the regular Formula toy with the back seat tube. I jumped into this with both feet whithout knowing what I'm doing. I didnt know there was a Formula 4 Chassis until after I ordered mine. Mike must have thought I knew what I was doing because he didnt tell me a damn thing. I'll redneck my way throught it like always....

I'm doing the same thing.....intentionally! :D
I'll be hauling kids in the back seat, and it's unlikely I'll be hauling 4 adults.

You can squeeze 4 short adults in an F-toy. Anyone taller than 5'6" might be a little cramped. I am 5'5" and I am sure I could ride several hour before having to get out and stretch my legs.
Here is mine about a year ago. Most changes after that pics have been suspension.
