: 8.25 adjuster tool size?

im about to make the tool to turn the adjusters on the 8.25. does anyone know the the exact size of the head(hexagon piece). the more exact the better

I used a 1 1/2 inch nut, tapered down to 1 3/8 to feed into the hex adjuster a little easier. It's welded to a cheapie socket and extension.

i got a tool from my matco tool guy that uses a 9/16 wrench on the outsiide for like $40. if you want to drive to NJ i will let you borrow it

This was just discussed in the Cherokee section (http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=657069).

Its a 36mm nut ,you can take a spare front hub nut and weld it to a long extension.You make make your own tool with hub nut,some small stock and an old socket.
