I'm looking for a pic of the memorial plaque on Sledge. I know they are floating around but I can't find them. I'm working on a project to put a plaque on a trail in CO for a fellow wheeler that was killed in action in Iraq.
Thanks guys & gals!

Well this one's not in JV but here's the plaque the So Cal Broncos guys put up for one of our guys who died in Iraq:

Its CNC machined out of a chunk of 2-1/2" thick steel. If you'd like to see some photos of how it was made and put into place, check them out on This Page (http://www.wcb4x4.com/trail/20050530-arm/index.shtml)
Best of luck with your project. For me, my involvement with placing that plaque was one of my proudest endeavors.

Yes it is. Dawn, Blake and Caitlin. She still has two of his Broncos, a '72 trail rig that she wheels pretty hard and a clean '79 that was a feature rig at Fab Fords a couple years ago.

BTW, somebody should start a thread to post all the different off-roader memmorial sites in. These might be neat for folks to visit, put a little meaning into a day of wheeling. The Husky Monument north of Barstow would go nicely in that thread too.
