I have a really original willys truck I'm thinking of parting with, I'm the 3rd owner, but almost the 2nd. The truck was owned by the same person until a few years ago when he passed and his son-in-law had it for a while. It has original paint on the dash and tailgate the rest is olive drab. Very nice body, very nice bed. Very little rust. It has service paperwork back to the 70's. The engine was rebuilt in the 70's-only about 25k has passed. I went through the motor when I bought it. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, carb rebuilt, valves and timing done by a pro. It is 12 volt, done by a shop, I have all the paperwork. It comes with the original manual which is amazing, it's almost like a service manual. The truck runs like a top, pretty much everything works. It has a T18/t90 combo. The tranny could probably use a rebuild. It will pop 2nd if you hit it hard. I've been driving it w/out a prob. The front end is real tight, i repacked and tightened all the bearings and put all new tie rod ends on. It has 5 new 7.50 NDT tires from coker on the original rims. I put a new plastic gas tank in, a correct size reproduction one. It will come w/ some extra parts and a repo service manual. It is a nice truck and super cool, I'm just a little overloaded with a landcruiser project and a samurai project. It could drive across the country but if you know willys it would be a real long trip so I could deliver it on a trailer within an hour or so drive. I'm looking for 4,000, not really looking for trades unless you got sammi stuff to offer mostly I need gears and lockers.
