I was looking at these manifolds, but since they run down from the ports, I didn't know if they would clear my Downey motor mounts. Does anyone use these and how much clearance is there? They are later Corvette manifolds

What year vette are they off of? They look like they would work great on my Vortec conversion - I wouldn't have to get longer spark plug wires.

Any info would be great

Those do look great. It appears that the exit is close to the spot on the classic Rams Horns exhaust manifolds. So they should probably clear. I run the Rams Horns with the Adavance Adapters motor mounts and I have plenty of space. AA mounts are very similar to Downey mounts. Where did you get those? How much? Year? and I guess Model as the newer Corvettes have some different options.

Thanks!

This was a pic from some I saw on EBAY. I think they were off a 91 Vette (The engine swap book has a pic of these on an engine says 86-91). They are tubing, not cast, but use standard Chev flange. The bidding stopped at $50, but didn't get to the reserve price. They look WAY cool. I have not seen any more of these there since. I bought a set of LT-1 manifolds from a Camaro, but didn't notice they have the wide spacing on the front and rear bolt to the head. They only fit newer heads. (mine are 88) So, they are in the for sale section.
I'm trying to drill the broken studs out of my ram's horns now so I can put them back on and fire up the TBI injection!!
I think the dump on these is like 1 1/2" lower than rams horns
