What do 6.2 diesels have for a fuel pickup inside the tank, is it just a strainer and tube or do they have in tank pumps? Anything different than a carbureted gas truck? I have a 90 V30 w/ TBI that I'm planning on putting a Cummins in and am going to use the block mounted mechanical pump, so all I need is a pickup. Thanks

6.2's don't have in tank pumps. You can run a non fuel injected gas sending unit aswell. The Cummins will run with 3/8" fuel line. The Suburban fuel tank fits perfectly inside the frame rails where the factory spare tire rides. 42gals and no need for a fuel tank switching valve.
