Excuse me sir, But if you dont know what heads are, you need to sell all of your cars and ride a bike. Give all your tools away and go into hiding.

Those things your exhaust manifolds are bolted to...?

Those are heads.

Headers replace exhaust manifolds. Only thing is that you then need to replace some or all of your exhaust system at the same time.

A head is the thing on your shoulders. You use it to buy a Jeep service manual and read it so you don't post such stupid questions.

What good is a Jeep service manual going to do him? He drives a Yota. Yet another noob rears his ugly head and assumes everyone here drives a Jeep.

Hey, I know I'm new around here, but is it MANDATORY to be a jackass to someone just because they ask a question that you personally think is dumb?

I mean, if it's a rule, I didn't get the memo or anything...

I seriously hope this is a Joke. OK here is the "ANY INPUT" Flame time... Hope you put on the nomex..

Go have it done by a shop. since you obviously don't have the tools to do this. You don't even have the sense to buy a book on your rig (15.00 at wal mart) and read it before you open your mouth.. YOU make me sick. My gab level says newbie just like yours though your's should say child)

It has been immortalized here in many forms. but the most precise says - to this effect- ( This is college level wheeling don't ask questions from kindergarten class"):nuke:

YES

If he asked what a tire was, would it be much different?

Yes, it would.

It's common knowledge what a tire is.

It isn't common knowledge what a head it. You and I might take it for granted but at some point each of us had to ask the first time.

I mean...
cut a man some slack, you know?

Thanks nakona. Look i am just trying to learn. i just don't know what all it does. you can't tell me you have always known what a head is. i am trying to learn about engines, i have previously focused my time on learning to weld, wood construction etc. so please cut me some slack. Besides how do you expect me to be stupified by your vast inteligence or whatever the hell you think you know.

Yeah, everyone may not know what a header or a head is but have you forgotten this is not newbies guide to wheeling.... there's other sites for basic questions like that like over on the TTORA board for example.... when you come to PBB you come to ask questions of a higher level of wheeling and mechanical knowledge not to find out something like this....

Hey, I dig what y'all are saying.

All I'm saying is; would it kill you to NOT tear a guy an new asshole for the simple crime of not knowing all that much?

I don't want to argue it past this.

I just wanted to make mention of that one thing and now I have.
