1. Take the doors off.
2. Fold down the windscreen, but i know thats a bit of a pain in a daily driver.
3. Cut the exhaust pipes off a few inches after your muffler.

You have to route it out the side, or it will blow back in on ya'. Most muffler shops know this and wont route it out the back. Have it exit behind the DS wheel, right next to (but clear of) the shackle. Oh yea, you shouldn't have to tell them, but....make sure they rout it ABOVE the skidplate.

Yeah, all that sounds good, But I recommend passenger side. Especially on a daily driver, because if you ever go through a pull up window such as fast food whatever, it sucks for that pipe to reverb off the wall and back into the mic and your ear. I know I've done both, of course it depends on whether or not you have rumble or not. Side is the way to go though, I had mine done less than three weeks ago out the PS and I love it.

yeah, when i had the exhaust out the back, even with a dumper style tip (points down, and just in front AND just behind the rear bar, we still got exhaust in the cab)

now (well till last weekend it routed out the passenger side,m right ont the tyre) and pretty quiet, no smoke in cab!! but currently just have a blank turbo flange, as the 3" mandrel pipe got hammered on the rocks :D

but from the flange it fills the cab up through all the old air con ducting from when it wasnt a soft top :mad3: so its time for a new exhaust, but i want a 5" tip like jack rice had on medusa :vader2: and out the back corner, thinking of chopping a exit hole in the tin for it though ;)
