did the Dusey this weekend for the first time. It was also my first real trail and it was an ass kicker. Just before thompson hill I broke. First was the trans mount and then the moter mount. We get it trail fixed and turn around for napa at Shaver lake and on the was back I get a dead short in the electrial system. I get it fixed, I also break a front U bolt and smash up my stering stabelizer. This trail has erned its name.

ahh the dushy.....to date my favorite trail. when i did it i still had the 258 six and everytime i pointed it up something steep it would die and i would have to back down to semi flat ground to get it to start. thank god for EFI.

i also remember the air was so thin i got winded just getting into my sleeping bag at night. :usa:

Hey glad to hear you made it back to your buddies ok. After running from Thompson out, I felt like I had been in a washing machine. That trail just beats you to death.:beer:

Yea I have some pics, I need to get them printed tonight. That trail is a *itch. I will do it again this summer though. The top of the trail is at 10,000' I know what you mean about running out of breath. The lakes are fawkn cold to. Tried to go for a swim and you talk about shrinkage!!:rasta:
