I am looking for another transfer case to replace my NP203. The transfer case works fine, just getting tired of the power robbing S.O.B. The truck is still driven on the street but it is also used for the local mud bogs and trails. What is considered the best to replace this transfer case? I have the TH350 if this matters. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i dont think you can bolt anything to do that without changing the output shaft on the transmission

With it always being in 4 wheel drive, it makes the truck a dog. So either the 205 or a part time kit? sounds like a plan and thanks for the help ya'll!!

205 came with 27 spline and was behind a th350. Have an extra th350/np205 sitting in my garage.

will a 205 bolt right onto it without changing the output shaft? i know the np208 didnt, had to send it in to get a new output shaft in it.
im guessing hte 205 adaptor is skinny like the 203 adaptor then?

AFAIK the 4wd output shaft on the TH350 is all the same. could be wrong though.

Just did a 203 replacement dont think the 205 will mount right up to th350 but the part time kit is not hard to install in the 203 just dont drop the needle bearings in the case , you dont even have to remove it...
