: ford shock towers with AC??

will the passenger side shock tower clear the ac box. It looks pretty tight on my truck. 87 k2500. please post pics if you have done this

It appears that I have stumped the experts for the first time ever. By the way I did do several searches and could find no info or pics about ac equiped trucks doing the ford shock tower thing. Ps I promised my wife that the truck would have ac so I cant ditch the ac for a regular heater box. We are planning to do lots of camping trips in the summer with the truck and it can get really hot in the bc interior. I have had 46 degrees celcius in the penticton area.

thx for the pic. unfortunatly i need the bigger ones as my shocks will measure 32 inches extended and I want 6 inches of travel up and six down

ya I did but I cant clearly see if any of those trucks have ac. I also tried posting there but the site wouldn't let me. ps how is your crew cab project doing

almost done welding in the replacement floor. started the machine work on my tcase at school so i can mate it to the 4l80e. Its coming along. just waiting on the tax return to come in.

How much up travel do you have there?

3-4" and it hits the stops.
