I was reading where a Baja Trophy truck has an automatic sway bars that they can release by pulling a lever inside to release the swaybars in the straight rough, then pull it again and rehook them up for the corners. Any idea how I can go about making one of these or somewhere I can look?

Take off the swaybar and leave it off.

I had seen these before in the back of one of the rags. it was a pair of collars that go on the sway bar (after you cut the par)with a cable activated shear pin that slides between the two collars. I haven't seen the ad in a while, I don't know what became of the product.

I was thinking of something simial to that but basiclt taking the stock bar cuttting it in half and having both ends splined. The have a sliding collar that is cable activated. Sort of like the alxe dissconects on the Jeep D30.

Another Idea...

Fab a sway bar similar to a currie antirock, but have it splined to fit a 30 spline hublock at one end. You could get a pulse activated hublock off a super duty ford and mount it to one of the sway bar arms. Then run vacuum to it and you can disco at the push of a button.
