Its so nice to have a clean frame! Now I just have to pic all the metal shavings and slag out of my skin!

And I love my new millermatic. I finally can make beautiful welds with ease!

I cant wait to get these on but it is going to be a lot work before that happens!

I know you're in college and I've followed the build-up you're planning and the parts you're purchasing. How rich are your parents?

I just got out of school after 5 years... I could only afford beer and smokes let alone food.....LOL

LOL... I think there are cattle futures in there somewhere... I have a badass job and do it all year round... I get free rent and all my bills are paid... I still couldn't afford to do a buildup like that right off the bat... Those parts are just too fawking expensive and the little shit is what kills you.

im in almost the same situation as jeeper cept i live at home, my parents pay for my school and all my money goes into my truck but only making 250-300 a week doesnt go to far.

Second of all, i couldn't care how much his parents give him, as long as he appreciates it for what it is.

Every dime i spend has a drop of my sweat on it, i've earned the right to be proud of everything own. Everytime i buy a part, or a tool, that means i eat ramen noodles, and PBnJ for the rest of the week. That's my sacrifice, because i want to make something of myself, that's why I have the right to be proud of what I do have.

Ok, I am not by any means a trust fund child and I have worked my ass off at everything from concrete forms to burning toxic waste so you all can kiss it. I bought my jeep completely and 90 percent of whats on it or about to be on it I have paid for personally. The rest is christmases and birthdays and things like that. If you want to rant and rave you should do it on account of my sister who had her truck bought for her by old mom and dad.

I appreciate my parents for supporting me right now. All my money goes toward jeeps. The last thing that I bought that was not jeep related was my TV almost a year ago. As a matter of factr i have sold all my DVDs and I am trying to sell my play station right now so that I can get drive shafts. So dont tell me I dont appreciate this stuff.

In short, I am not sorry that I have parts. We all do what we can and I am just doing the same. Just thought you guys might be interested in what I am doing.

When I go to sell a part, the buyers personal finanaces come in to play. If they got $$$ then fair market value it is, not a penny less. If they are dirt ass poor and need it, I'll go so far as to give it away. (Since I am better off). If I give up a sale to the $$$ guy so teh poor guy can benefit. So be it.

Sounds fair to me. I do the same thing!

I just got a new Bobcat about 2 weeks ago, man that thing welds nice. Maybe I'll get one of those Millermatics or a Plasma cutter next year. Now I have no money to work on the jeep with.
