There's a GM Divorced 205. I've seen a few. Maybe you could work out a trade.

Not going to say it will work for sure, but it is something I was looking at, some time ago.

Remove the guts from the tcase, swap the gear clusters side to side. May have to drill and tap a few holes, but shouldn't be hard. The only real issue is going to be the shifter rods, and the interlocks. probably wouldn't be able to get the interlocks to work without some major headaches, but if you can figure that out, then the rest of it can be done quite easily.

or you can call me, and I might hook you up with an empty Dodge case.

?????????????? Why are you swaping the guts around in the t-case? Are you trying to put the main shaft gears in the front output shaft and vice-versa?

You can clock the 205 but it will leak from the shift rails. Plus your fill/drain/breater will have to be relocated. It's just not worth it.

Get a dodge devorced 205 and sell your ford one. They are common. Unless some dummy wants to trade your low pinion for a high pinion d60 and then I would jump on the thing...

It's not a divorced 205, but I don't think the t-case cares whether it's divorced or married when you flip it.

I'm not doing it. I said it was possible. Simply remove the gear cluster from one side, and then the other, and replace them in the opposite positions. you don't remove the gears from one shaft and put them on the other. you move the entire cluster, as a unit. The gears couldn't care less which hole they are mounted in. A divorced case uses the same bearing retainer on the input as it does on the front output, so no modification is needed there, not 100% sure about the rear bearing retainers, but I believe the openings in the case are identical diameter, so you should be able to switch them as well. Presto, your drivers drop case is now a passengers drop. The shifters are the only thing that would require any modification.

Hope this is clearer.

The reason I looked into it, is that I was considering making a dual rear output case. You would just use 2 input/rear clusters. So, if you can use 2 input clusters, you should be able to just swap sides. to change the drop.

Never got around to perusing it, but I most likely will at some point.
