if you want hp and torque #s, is it for C or J code?

C code is 135hp and 240 ft pds
J code is 150hp(?) and 270 ft pds(?)

The C code 6.2L was used in all 1/2 tons and most 3/4 tons. It's the most common 6.2L.The J code engine was used in 1 tons and some 3/4 tons. You can tell a C from a J by looking at the intake manifold. If it has an EGR valve, it's a C, if there's no EGR, it's a J. But, replacing the C code intake with a J gives you a little more hp and torque so it can be difficult to indenify them just by the intake. I'm sure there are other ways to tell them appart.
