: All-Pro's Solid Axle FJ Test Run
RocKrawler 02-20-2008, 11:51 AM Jon decided to take out the newly solid-axled FJ for a test run behind his cabin a few days ago to make sure everything was ready for the upcoming Clawhammer FJ Cruiser Challenge March 8th. While playing on the rocks, a friend of the company took some pictures we thought some of you who were interested in the kit would like to see. Everything is working beautifully and the kit components should be going into production very soon. This kit uses a widened version of our current Hybrid Toyota/Dana 60 axle and a hy-pinion 4.88 ARB 3rd member and 37" BFG MT/km2 tires on Walker Evans Racing 17"x8.5" beadlocks with 3.75" backspacing. This will be our first SAS offering for the FJ & 05+ Taco applications, and soon after we will begin working on an Ultimat SAS kit that features front and rear RockJock Dana 60 axles that will, if everything else works out correctly, incorporate the ABS and ATRAC systems into the conversion. Sorry, we are still working on pricing and release dates, but here is what you can expect from the kit once released. By the way, it drives beautifully on the street - so you dont have to compromise if you want to keep it as your daily driver!

RocKrawler 02-27-2008, 09:21 AM What will this setup cost eventually ?
Still doing the final fine tuning before the links and brackets go out for production - should have more info in the next few weeks if everything goes correctly.
hammrdyoda 02-29-2008, 04:02 PM DAMN jons FJ looks pretty sick!!
so when you getting an SAS terry??:D
havoc319 03-01-2008, 11:41 PM Hrmm From west to east.. Everyone is doing sas FJ's.. What will be done to make a better steering box kit?? A nice firewall plate would be nice. The parts used in the tacoma kit did not help much.. Something to reuse that factory fire wall seal would really be nice :smokin:

Okiyota 07-15-2009, 06:02 PM If i remember correctly, your ultimate strength ifs axle are around $550 a side? If thats the case, then NO, this is no where near that cheap.
