To think... I just use the two bolts finger tight that hold my windshield up and ditched the spreaders.
4Bangler 07-09-2002, 07:44 AM Nice work, similar to the plans rolling around in my head for my new cage. Is that front hoop off the shelf, of home-brew? Will factory half doors or full doors still fit? What size tubing? Have you had a fully grown adult passenger in the back seat? How's the head room? By the way, my girlfriend just bought me the same seat covers at WallMart, not bad for wally-world.
ashmanjeepXJ 07-09-2002, 08:19 AM It looks like a hocky helmet,
Rock on.

The front hoop is a custom job, full doors will fit (just need to get smaller door handles), It is 2" tubing (don't have the dom specs right now), Head room? What head room? The head room is very little, I am around 6' and sitting in the back my melon was scraping something fierce. All I need to do is lower the seat hinges. That should give me 2-3". :D I paid $30 each Canadian for the seat covers from Wal-mart, how about you?
4Bangler 07-09-2002, 10:09 AM I'm thinking of using a little smaller OD tubing for the front hoop, so my steel 1/2 doors will still fit, the rear headroom concerns me, but I may just say screw anybody that wants to ride in the back, toss the back seat and leave my tool boxes in full-time. $30 Canadian, eh, sounds like the $8 my girlfriend paid here in the states, just kiddin' I have no idea how much they cost, they're still in the box and they're the first thing my girl has ever bought for my other girl, kinda weird, but kinda arousing too.
4Bangler 07-09-2002, 10:14 AM Hey, Canada's pretty big, eh, can you be a little more specific? I'm leading one of the trail rides on a fall run in Ontario, specifically the Wah-wah to Searchmont area. What area are you in?
Snatch Block 07-09-2002, 10:20 AM I am in toronto ontario.:D
