These arms were made by BEN W the moderator.

There not going to work with my application, I need a bit of an upturn on my arms inorder to get them to clear my springs.

If anyone is interested email me, or PM me and I will send you pics..

How much upturn? If not much could you just bend them?

about an inch, and there 1 inch thick so bending them my be a bit hard.

Nope... If you were in the area I could have them bent for $30ish. It doesn't matter how thick they are...it matters how HUGE your press-brake is....and I've got a guy with a freaking HUGE break.

If you're not local...call a machine shop and ask them who could bend 1" bar stock for you.

Good point. I probably could find a shop todo it.. I have access to a 20 ton brake, I wonder if I could do it on that.

I dont think 20 tons will do it. not unless Ben's arms are made of 1 inch cardboard.

Actually they are made out of 1" cardboard...

They don't clear your springs even with the 1" spacers? If you find a place to bend them lets see some pictures of the end result.

Who's arms were you planning on switching to?

Yep not even with the 1 inch spacers.

I talked to 66deancj he recommended kds Man, 2 inch arms with a 1 inch raise in them

If I can get yours bent I will do that.. I guess I should start calling..

If your springs are that high, maybe you could remove the 1" spacer and go under them.

Well, regardless, I hope you get it worked out. You should be able to sell those if you can't get them to work, I've had a couple emails in the last few weeks from people inquiring about arms, maybe one of them will read this.

Ben.

I thought about going under as well, I have to rethink that..

IF you get orders and dont have the arms and dont mind forwarding them to me, feel free. I will kick some of the sale back your way.

I'm also in the market for some. I've been searching for an arm for a few weeks. It's been hell trying to figure which will work.
I can see why so many people end up buying a second type or making the arms themselves.

Ben’s, Avalanche, Parts Mike, maybe ORD, or Rockstomper? I've only found two companies that have the ends beveled to aid in the angles, but is that necessary? Which is the best and which will work, seems to be no single answer?

Ben what do yours look like and when will they be in production again?

My arms were never really in 'production'. I'm just a wheeler doing it in my spare time. I have some more spare time scheduled in late 2004. :D

As for the beveled ends, they are only required if your draglink attaches directly to the highsteer arm. If the draglink attaches to the tie rod, then you'll get along ok without them.

Don't think those will work on a 60...

Maybe by late 2004 I'll be looking for some for a 44 :p
