Reading some of the comments posted make my head spin. The wacko anti-gun nuts really are deluded.
In fact, as I was thinking over some of the comments, I came to the conclusion that the belief that holding or owning a gun can "make" someone want to commit violence is equivalent to believing in "evil spirits." The great hypocrisy is that most of these anti-gun posters probably consider themselves to be very enlightened and would laugh at someone claiming to believe in evil spirits.
Why is humanity so fucking stupid?

No individual should be allowed to own guns. Guns should be banned totally then none of these tragic events would occur.
It's these people that should be shot.

Yep, it's the "Save us from ourselves" attitude that's going to ruin this nation. It's slowly doing so...

I always laugh when I read opinions of foreigners about America and gun crime. Some of these nuts believe we have a continuous bloodbath occurring in our streets. I can understand why, their news is often more liberal than ours (BBC, et al.)!
Glad to see an article like this up on CNN.com. This Joshua Molina kid has his head on straight, 'cept for probably being a mormon.

I didn't find the article that bad, except that gonzales character, I wonder how she even got into college, probably state required law to have at least one retarded messican enrolled. "I feel less safe knowing that a stranger sitting beside me in class may have a gun in his or her backpack," she said.
Ya, you would feel less safe if it was a criminal, but wouldn't you feel safe if it was say some dude in the guard going to school at night with full weapons training who could stop a nutjob from shooting everyone in your underwater african basket weaving class?
The comments were funny though
"No individual should be allowed to own guns. Guns should be banned totally then none of these tragic events would occur.:
O'rly, ban all guns and no tragic event will occur again, why didn't I think of that :shaking: Anyone can make a zip gun with some junk lying around and kill someone, or use any other weapon for that matter, stfu idiot.
How about this hippie propaganda
"People should not have guns..no one should..only the military and police force...guns are meant for them to protect us...not for gangs and citizens and psychopaths to go and shoot each other "just because"
Citizens, meaning law abiding citizens who own firearms for target shooting or self defense don't go around shooting people "just because", if that was the case I would have thinned out the shallow end of the gene pool on a daily basis and you would be first on the list, and what happens when these govt officals are corrupt or decide they want to take away your freedoms, and what about a military guy who has a gun but is also in a gang? I guess it doesn't matter though because "the protectors" will always be there to help you and nothing bad will ever happen, 911 is like Calgon, they just take your problems away.
The bottom line is, if guns exist, criminals will have them illegally and since you could NEVER get rid of every gun, then I should have them too.
edit: everytime I read a stupid comment like those I go out and buy another gun out of spite

you going to carry the empty holster in protest?
I am...When asked about it, I will just explain that this is my way of showing that I am one less qualified CWP holder that will be able to protect you should someone within earshot pull out a gun and start shooting...
I get my CWP soon, I know I might should not even say this, but I might carry on campus anyway. not on my person, but in some sort of holster hidden down in my book bag. It would not be very accessible, but if bullets started flying it would be alot closer than my house. I sure I wont be the only one.
