I can't tell about the front axle from the picture but that is at least a 1955 truck. It is definately not a 1950.

We picked up a complete '58 chassis with all of the original Napco conversion parts and the original inline 6/SM420 for $500 a while back. No cab or sheet metal of any kind. Tough to put a value on something like that.

perfectly restored, at auction, with a big pocket moron wanting it, $40-50k.

as it sits, 200-700.

looks like your investment has begun.

I'll I care about with regards to older trucks and cars that I wouldn't want to "restore". Is a straight body. I personally would throw a crate small block in it with Dana 44's and 33s and have a sweet Cruiser.
Actually, with that truck I'd go with a 2wd hot rod style.
But they're good lookin' trucks, good luck and post pics.

This kind of truck just gets me wet, and I don't even have a cooter.

They look even better if they are still beat to shit from a hard life of service use. JMO

Now the early 50s 5 windows are what I'm into. I built a 53 Apache with my next door neighbor a few years ago.
