Does anyone know what brake components are on that thing? We would like to know the vehicle of origin so that we can buy brake-lines for it, as well as be able to replace the rotors, pads, etc. in the future. Thanks, y'all.

Dynatrac does not like giving out P/N's or info because they want you to buy all your parts from them. I have several friends with dynatrac axles and when they tried to get a spare parts list, dynatrac said "NO".
They make nice stuff, just a pain to deal with

No, I don't...I can't personally justify spending that kind of money when I'm not competing or making money off my truck.

A friend just bought f&r axles and we have them all done under his Jeep but can't figure out what brake-lines to use to connect to the calipers.

The calipers in the picture look just like standard GM/delco fronts to me.......brake hoses from any half to Chev/GM application should work. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I would second that last post. If you want SS braded then just get 1/2 ton Chevy stuff.

That is bullshit! When I bought my axles from Sunray, they provided me with DETAILED parts lists of every component and where they came from in case I needed a part while on the road wheeling.

That is just plain ole' good customer service. What the hell is the secret?

My front brake lines are flexible extended rubber ones from a YJ.

take the calipers to a hydraulic shop and have them give you steel adapters to run real hydraulic lines?

Be careful when you do that. The hyd shops down here won't build lines for brakes due to the risk of the line failing and resulting lawsuit.

Yup... just 1/2 or 3/4 ton Chevy calipers, the rotors are Ford D44 fronts. Wow big secret huh?? Don't tell anyone!! :rolleyes:
