I know I'm cross posting, but I hope the powers that be will overlook that for me.
Yesterday around 1pm I set my camera down on a rock right at the start of Wrecking Ball while I was working on Becca Websters #88 race Jeep. Apparently while i was running back and forth to our support jeep for tools someone picked it up thinking that it had been lost. Becca told me she heard someone asking about a camera they had found, but didn't realize it was mine. Unfortunately by the time I went to grab it, the person that picked it up had left....and taken it with them. :( Needless to say I'm pretty bummed about this, as I just got the camera for christmas and really cant afford to replace it. What's worse is that ALL of the pictures of the 1 week buildup of that jeep are on the memory card and nowhere else. Including probably the ONLY finished pictures of the rig before it got hammered through the race course. I posted around 30 or so build up pics on here, but there are at least 200 more on there and I'm gonna be really sad if they are gone forever.
The camera is Kodak Z612 and it was in a small black camera bag. It was set on a rock on the left side of the entrance to Wrecking Ball and I'm pretty sure whoever picked it up did so with the intention of getting it back to it's owner, not knowing that I was right there. I really dont have the money to offer any kind of monetary reward, but I can promise that I will find a way to offer whoever gets it back to me something special in return. So please, if you or any of your friends were out there yesterday ask around and see if someone you know picked it up.
