I have a '93 K1500 w/ two piece rear slider. The fixed window behind the driver's seat has been broken out since I got the truck and a piece of plexi has been kept in place with some kind of adhesive.

Instead of replacing it with a totally new rear slider, has anyone ever made a soft window that could snap or zipper out and remain water tight? Even if it's not completely water tight I could throw one of those goofy rear window vent shades over it.

Yea, for nearly $300, I think I'll just pick up another slider or replace the broken pane . I was just looking for something 'different.' Beside, I'll probably bust this one out loading logs or something anyway...oops, there's another $300.
