whats a good/average price for a good used 9x18 mak?

and how much does teh ammo usually run per box

12 bucks pr so per box. You can find the PA63's for 125 or so but, they need some tuning. Stock they hurt to shoot. The real maks are pretty slick in the 250 zone.


You can load 9mak with 9 luger dies, just use non berdan primed brass and 9 mak bullets.

.355X18T

use 9x18brass, 95gr .355 hp bullets, and use 9luger dies...

this goes thru a 6groove .355 bbl(was a piece of HK MP5 bbl I cut down) that is 4" with a two slot comp built in and nets 1450fps at 6" from teh muzzle
pix after I get it out of the closet downstairs...


9x18 is .364 dia bullet(not a TRUE 9mm)
.380 and 9mm is .355 dia

Hence the reason for Mak bullets when you reload. :D We are playing with one of the 63's. I really need to figure out how to tig a extended beavertail to the damn thing before I lose a thumb. :laughing:
