So this might be lame, but it's been bothering me for many years now. When I did my quarter eliptic rear suspension I cut my rear fenders out to clear the tires from hitting the body. I did a ghetto style cut with the alluminum diamond plate corners still attached... It has always bothered me like you could'nt beleive... So here's my attempt at a quick fix. No bondo, just welding in the many holes, grinding, sanding, and painting.

Grinded smooth and repainted. Even installed an original back up light.

I know it's kinda of ghetto work, but it's also trail rig work, so deal with it! I think it looks better than cut up diamond plate! Also, I plan on fixing my 1987 rocker panels as well.

That's nice for a trail rig for sure. Usually my definition of body work involves simply removing the dented sheetmetal.
