It's some group out of Australia, but it looks like an awesome buggy, 4wd cheby 350, overkill everything.

Don't think the page has been updated in quite a while, I'm trying to find out if this thing was ever finished.

I want to build the same thing but with a NV242 HD AMG TC out of a Hmmwv . That would rock my socks.

Really!? I thought a 350 was a good call, tons of options, availablity of parts, reliability, upgradability... What would you put in it?

Its a great choice, yeah... but I think going with a larger motor (maybe a 434, 440, 442, etc..) and a mild-mid tune would be more reliable than that of a juiced to the hilt, veryyyy heavily tuned 350 in order to make the same power... I just think itd be more reliable for means of desert racing over the verryyy heavily built 350, but thats just my opinion haha

Maybe even an LS1, LS2, or LS6 for weight issues... just as reliable as the 350 SBC but pumps more ponies...

Price and availability might be an issue in Australia...

This may not be a valaid arguement though, as it looks like they didn't build on a tight budget.
