hey guys, been away a whlie but im back and need a favor...well the BIG 45 buildup has been put on hold, but to at least bring it to the 45 run, im in need of a newer F or 2F (prefererable 2F) engine in working order, and a tranny/tcase combo if you have one...im not really thrilled about driving the 3 speed, but i will if i have to...so if anyone has a sm420/cruiser case combo they are not using (fat chance but who knows), let me know....also, if you have recently pulled a F or 2F and had converted to p/s before and have the bracket for the alternator and p/s pump, thatd be a huge bonus...i'd pay of course if anyone has this stuff, or gladly take it out of the corner of the garage where it's leaking and taking up room...im not looking foraward to driving a crappy 37 year old engine that barely runs as it is engine anywhere far..come on guys help a brotha out:cool:

Mudrak has my old SM420-cruiser T/C in his shop. Both were rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago. The case is a 4 speed but the p.o. put in 3 speed gears. The combo was pulled out for an NV4500-split case combo and it was working fine.

Oh yeah, the SM420 was out of a 1967 with reverse switch. I just rebuilt the e-brake with a new output seal and factory Toyota brake shoes less than 1000 miles ago. You can e-mail him at mudrak@vom.com

the 45 run is on labor day weekend. saturdau august 31st thru monday september 2nd at lake alpine on highway 4. should take you about 3.5 hrs to get there. we did a pre-run this weekend, everything looks cool. just have to reserve a bunch of campsites tomorrow and then i'll be starting a new thread with all the specifics.:D

I have a 2f from a 75 with a blown head gasket. It's sitting in the garage waiting to be bought. I have a buncha other stuff if you need.
