i have a sammy i am putting d44 waggy axles under, 39s, locked f/r. the sammy had a power steering conv. when i got it and i believe it is a rodeo pump and gear box. i am doing away with the gear box and thinking about keeping the pump since its already on there. i am wondering if anyone thinks i am going to run into problems with the pump not having enough pressure??? any help will be nice. thanks

Which Isuzu steering pump, like from what motor? If you don't know, maybe post a pic.

What are the flow requirements for the ram you're going to use?

I'm running hydro with a stock 95 Rodeo PS pump. I don't have the numbers handy, but the flow might be the only limiting factor, not the pressure. I'm running a 2"x8" single ended ram, and I have plenty of power, but it will cavitate if I steer too quickly. The orbital is 5.7 c.i. charlynn.
