: will the 2009 KOH be open for foriegn contenders?
the frog 02-28-2008, 02:55 AM this is a serious question.
taking part at the 2002 TTC(the only foriegn contender outside north America ever) shows i'm a doer not a talker.
if it is, let me know - it's gonna take a whole year to build + prepp + ship +
get used to the terrain + prerun + set a crew etc. etc.
WVJeepBuilder 02-28-2008, 05:39 AM you got my vote, I would PM Jeff or Dave about this, they are the ones in charge.
WickedGravityVideo 02-28-2008, 07:14 AM Yeah, sure, build it and come on over -- this is AMERICA -- you might even qualify for citizenship, with social security benefits (from my lifetime of paying into the system), and you get free medical care. The secret to this is to say you are a mexican who came across the border ILLEGALLY and are looking to get your land back and want us to have to speak spanish for you -- bring your children, have more children , six or eight, and bring your extended family -- we will pay for it all! The secret code word is "RECONQUISTA". There, now you're IN. (Just joking, I don't know what the helli I am talking about -- I'm not bitter - I'm not bitter - I'm not bitter - I'm not bitter - I'm not....)
the frog 02-28-2008, 07:42 AM oh no, you forgot your pills again!!!
read my lips - e v e r y m o r n i n g you simply must take the blue ones and the red ones go in at 6 p.m.
now that's a good boy!:homer:!
BTW, my friend i am an American citizen just like yourself and when i get in the country the immigration officer at the airport always says - welcome home sir.......
now how about that???
WickedGravityVideo 02-28-2008, 08:05 AM Oh, you had to bring up the PILLS!
I have been taking ALL of my pills. I hate swallowing big pills, so I ingest them as anal suppositories - the red ones really have a kick! yeowww! Want one?
Next time you come over, bring me a Uzi -- just wrap it good in old socks and underwear. I met Uzi Gal once, in Arizona - he was there to work on a new Ruger machine pistol MP9 design. so there.
Frog,
Interested in a pirate4x4.com sponsorship ? we would love to have you fly our colors for KOH 09. :smokin:

David Taylor 02-28-2008, 08:29 AM i know my english sucks but i guess it is so bad i just can't understand what seems to be a simple sentence.
what in hell are you talking about??
It means they want to pay you to run your junk with some PBB stickers on it.
the frog 02-28-2008, 08:39 AM that sounds good.
pirate4x4 is my second home and that's not a joke. even my wife knows that.... :smokin:
GoodTimes 02-28-2008, 08:45 AM How many tires will your hammer car have? I don't think they have a limit.
Jeff Knoll 02-28-2008, 09:12 AM Dave is trying catch up on business this week and as soon as we get to sit down, first priority will be figuring out how to pick our drivers for next year.
We will release the details ASAP.
Thank you everyone for half filling my PM box.:D
the frog 02-28-2008, 09:22 AM How many tires will your hammer car have? I don't think they have a limit.
i was thinking of a fast 500hp 6 wheeler with 37"s tops.
90TOYPU 02-28-2008, 08:54 PM I'd love to see Frog in KOH 09'....I'd be part of his crew if my schedule allowed it.
the frog 03-02-2008, 05:24 AM Next time you come over, bring me a Uzi -- just wrap it good in old socks and underwear. I met Uzi Gal once, in Arizona - he was there to work on a new Ruger machine pistol MP9 design. so there.
i just saw this UZI thing!!
there are easier ways to get me arrested than trying to make me bring an UZI to the states. i guarantee you that if i did, the immigration officer would say to me other things than welcome home sir.....:D:flipoff2:
BTW, UZI used to be a good weapon. nowadays there are much more advanced stuff than this old piece which was my personal weapon when i was in the army and you do'nt want to know how long ago this was.......:smokin:
87JeepWrangler 03-02-2008, 08:13 AM you got my vote
x2.
Hey Barry, I hope you can make it!
It would be fun to catch up and rehash ttc '02!
i was thinking of a fast 500hp 6 wheeler with 37"s tops.
I'll commit (unless life threatening circumstances prevented it-work/life) to coming down from MN to pit crew/parts run/navigation control,GPS anything I can do to help if you get in next year- whether its prerunning or race, etc-
Your builds are way outside the box, and would be a great addition to the field.
keep us posted.
the frog 03-03-2008, 01:37 AM thanks for the support and offer to help guys, i appriciate it.
JR - it really would be great getting together again especially in such a FANTASTIC event. you know, what makes any idea a very good idea is when AFTERWARDS everyone says - wow how come nobody ever thought of THAT before? Jeff and Dave certainly had that kind of idea.
i always though and i still do think your rig is the most suitable and well built for such an event. i was surprised it got that link broken :shaking: and i'm absolutly positive you would have won the race if that link had'nt give in.
just the sound of that hungry engine of yours.... :smokin:
i surely hope i'll get the chance to be there next year. i can't promise i'll beat you but i sure will give it one hell of a try....:):p
