Yes you can buy new parts, and no they are not available like Year One does with muscle cars. Somethings you can go down to NAPA for, other you've got to get from specialty vendors and others you are SOL.

However, if you're building a crawler I don't see what you would need that you couldn't get. I suppose wing windo gaskets for the Scout II, but that's about all I see.

I wants to build a nice trail rig that I can drive on the street. I also would like a nice paint Job and generaly have something very nice for a long time that looks really great.

I am going back and forth between and Scout or A Bronco!

I did do a google search and new parts were not easy to find which lead to this post.

Do all 80 and 800 have fold down windshields? Thanks

If you roll them over without a cage, then yes, they all fold down.

Make friends with someone local and buy them a LOT of beer. Ask said drunk man all your questions. (thats the only time he will have the ability to answer and not get pissed off):homer:
Use your search button. Stop expecting people to tell you everything. We are nice guys mostly but the same 6 questions asked week after week...year after year....It's enough to make ya kill...:mad3::shaking::flipoff2:

Hey I tried that conversion right after I finished the spring over and sbc swap. For some reason it folded into the passenger compartment and left the glass on the ground.

Lots of great priced parts here (http://scoutparts.com/)
