Those things are freakin ridiculous. AMAZING how much roll they have for such a top heavy vehicle... anybody know the suspension specs on these things?

You don't ever have to stop for police with those - the police run from you. BLM rangers run from you when you bash through the pristine desert.

There is always a separate video section on these in the official Dakar video out of the UK each year.

I like watching the in-cab shots - they are sitting on air suspension seats with a foot+ of travel - I don't know how they keep ahold of the steering wheel, but it sure is fun to watch. I would love to drive one.

the ones I've seen run totally independent suspension. freakin crazy. whats really nuts is seeing them run Dakar and not sink.

Is that a MB diesel? It smokes pretty good for a merc. I wonder what shocks it takes to float one of those?
