Hey guys

My cousin just got a Nice 77 Early Bronco with the Factory 302 and wants to add a York OBA setup.

I know that the York was a factory option for these but i cant seem to find the brackets anywhere!!

Are there any websites that sell the brackets or that have diagrams of the belt routing and so forth??

I have done many OBA setups in Heeps with Yorks but never on the 302 and only really need help figuring out how to mount it

Any insight would be great!

Thanks!!!

Factory Air was never an option on the EB's, they were available as a dealer installed option, however I'm not sure who made the setup. Here's a few links that also contain some bracket info

If they don't have it they can probably point you in the right direction.

Man, if I had a way, I'd pull the brackets out of my 69 Mustang and send them to you. I have 2 of them off, but it's the one that mounts to the engine that has to stay there, but then I could make a spacer where it goes between the PS pump and the block!! It's 3 hours away, and I don't plan to go visit it for a couple of weeks. I'll look into it, and let you know. If you're still looking, maybe we can come up with an arangment.

What I have done a few times now is convert over to serpintene belt set up off an 5.0 stang and then fab a simple brk to hold the york in the full up right seat position. But this does require a 2-3" body lift and a re-route on the radiator due to the reverse flow. On my new 351 equipted EB i am running the stock 5.0 stange pump but I have not gotten my but in gear and ran the lines yet. But it pumps around 9-10 gpm. Here is a pic of my new set up.

Is that a factory setup? If so, does the pump mount upright or sideways?

I still need to mount my york on my 302. I was just planning on doing everything from scratch. Probably put the york with the alternator on top on the passenger side, and power steering and second alternator(future welder) on the drivers side.

Thanks for the pictures.... I'm sure they will be helpfull for a lot of people.

It looks like it mounts on the drivers side, and sticks up kinda high? correct?

I don't have much hood clearance....I wonder if that would work for me...

They've cut a lot of the features out of the board, so if the pictures don't show use the following links

Thank you for posting the pics .. If you have a chance to see a ford van with a/c this is what they came with .. The 3 holes on the one bracket bolted in the drivers side head ( if I remember right ) ... I also have the power sterring pump that came with it .. It looks like the one that all the EB guys are swapping to ( can ham style I think ) .. That pump will put out a lot of quiet power ..

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the bottom bracket bolts to the head. I'm almost positve it wouldn't clear my hood.

Can you just remount it on its side .. It looks like you could use the side holes and bolt it up to the bottom plate .. Heck at the worst you could drill some holes in the bracket to line it up with the yorks side holes .. Just a idea .. I hope this helps ..
