Im not afraid to start tearin them apart, (Ididnt pay for em, buddy did) but I just figured if someone shared a little info it would save alot of down time on the rig, daniel, I hope we do have a rockwell thread on here, it'd be the only one I know of! That would really kick a$$, should start a deal something like "alternate axles" or something, cover mogs and volvos and all the wild extreme stuff that is poppin up more and more!!!

I'm not totally sure what you are asking, or wanting to know but I have torn apart and done some simple stuff to my rockwells. As far as flipping the front hubs, just unbolt the bolts from the full time locking hubs, I then used a hammer and old flat head screw driver to undo the large nuts and then pulled the hub off. Pulled the nuts and bolts that hold the brake drums on and knocked them off. Put the hub on again (backwards) this time and tightened it all up. I run a single pinion brake in the back that would lock up all four tires easily except I pulled the hose at the master cylinder and now it is just perfect. I posted my "poor boy" set up not too long ago and you can see pics of it. Works well for me. Some guy was pushing on my rear end in the box last weekend and broke my brake line hose but I don't forsee that happening again. Anyway if you want to know anything else specific just ask, otherwise tear it apart and don't be afraid to use a BFH! I run mine welded front and rear with hydro assist works perfect! I love my rockwells! Just need some 46.5 michelin XML tires!
