Hey...

I have a Dana 44 front on my Scout II. Standard steer, spring under, and my tie-rod ends seem to be bent:eek::eek:.

they are bent back and at an angle.

I would like to know what HD GM type of rod end has the correct taper to use on my rig. Is it the "SMALL" taper?

I am going to mill a solid 1-1/4 stainless shaft with taps. Do the still need to be left and right hand threads or can't I go with two "standard" thread ends since I am building my own?

If you use standard thread at both ends, you won't be able to adjust toe without taking one end off, big PITA, accidentally did it on a buddies Heim jointed tie rod, oops.
