Looking at getting a nice tire groover that will last the ages. Dont want to break the bank but dont want junk either. Post up with what you guys have used and abused with good results.
***and Gil I still got your groover if you read this****:D

I have the high end one from Poly Performance and it is great. I would recommend it to anyone with the budget.

I just used a grinder disc???
it stinks, and throws rubber pieces all over the place, but it works....
make sure you do it outside, away from the 'nice' trucks (ask me how I know) :flipoff2:

You can probably get it cheaper but this is the Cadillac of groovers.

I am a dirt track racer and use a tire groover about 75 tires/year. Google "van alstine tire groover". It is expensive but it is by far the best groover on the market. Nothing else is even close.
